The jumper, designed by Warm & Wonderful, was first worn by Diana in June 1981 to watch her then-fiancé Prince Charles play in a polo game, and she later received a replacement after the original was damaged.
The original jumper was rediscovered in an attic earlier this year by one of the brand's founders, and it is now being sold with two letters related to the replacement jumper.
The letters, written by Diana's private secretary and the co-founder of Warm & Wonderful, detail the process of getting the original jumper repaired and the replacement sent to Diana.
The jumper is estimated to fetch between $50,000 and $80,000 at auction.
