Prince William Meets Crash Survivor He Helped Save.
Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, recently met a man he helped save when he worked as an air ambulance pilot.
Jack Beeton was involved in a van crash in Cambridge in 2015, which killed his uncle and left him with life-threatening injuries.
Prince William invited Mr. Beeton to Windsor Castle after receiving a letter from his girlfriend, thanking him for saving her boyfriend's life.
Prince William worked for the East Anglian Air Ambulance for two years, starting in March 2015.
He began his first operations four months later.
After finishing his job in July 2017, he wrote a public letter praising his crew for saving Mr. Beeton's life following the collision on the A10.
Mr. Beeton was unable to thank
Prince William personally at the time, but his girlfriend wrote to the palace to let them know.
Prince William invited Mr. Beeton and other members of the crew to Windsor Castle to reunite and thank them for their actions.
Prince William's crew were the first on scene at the crash aftermath and had to work together to save Mr. Beeton's life.
The prince said it was days like this that gave them the determination to keep going.
Mr. Beeton's girlfriend was grateful for the crew's efforts and wanted to thank
Prince William personally.
