Prince William grateful for public's messages of support

Prince William has thanked people for their well-wishes for his wife, Catherine, and his father, King Charles, during recent health challenges.
His remarks came during a London's Air Ambulance charity event, which marked his return to public duties after a three-week absence due to Catherine's surgery. Although light-hearted about the medical theme, William shared no updates on his family's health

While joking with guest Tom Cruise about safeguarding the service's helicopters, the Prince stressed the importance of fundraising for new air ambulances, aiming to collect £15 million.

Earlier that day, William held an investiture at Windsor Castle, where he recognized individuals such as John Broadfoot of SOS Kit Aid and former England footballer Ellen Convery, previously Ellen White.

The King, recently diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer, continues his royal functions but will reduce public appearances to focus on treatment. The Royal Family's website published a King's message to Grenada, unrelated to his health. Regular meetings with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak remain face-to-face, with recent phone contact as well.

King Charles met briefly with Prince Harry, who visited from California, before the King travelled to Sandringham. This was his first public sighting since his diagnosis.

Harry's visit was reportedly brief, and no reconciliation with Prince William was observed amidst their strained relationship after Harry's tell-all memoir. Harry is believed to be back in the U.S. following a short stay in London.
