A judge expressed surprise at Harry's absence from the court on Monday, but he is expected to begin giving evidence on Tuesday, making him the first senior royal to testify in court in 130 years.

Harry claims that MGN journalists used unlawful methods to gather information, including phone hacking.

MGN denies phone hacking in this case, but previously admitted it took place.

The case involves 207 newspaper stories published between 1991 and 2011, with nearly 67% of them written about Harry.

The claimants argue that senior executives at MGN must have known about the unlawful information gathering and failed to stop it.

Harry's lawyers accused MGN of wasting time, and a judge criticized the publisher for not calling certain witnesses to give evidence.
