Harry claims that his phone was hacked by journalists from MGN between 1996 and 2011.
The duke also revealed that he felt "physically sick" over detective payments about his mother, Diana, and claimed that journalists' actions affected every area of his life.
He also accused the press of having "blood" staining their "typing fingers" and being responsible for causing pain, upset and death.
Harry also said that he has lost friendships and had a "huge amount of paranoia" due to the alleged press intrusion.
The trial is set to last for another six to seven weeks and will focus on 33 articles published between 1996 and 2010.
Prince Harry has given a witness statement in a court case against the publisher of The Mirror newspaper, in which he claims that the tabloids have tried to ruin his relationships, that he was "singled out" by his peers and called a "pussy" after press reports of his injuries, and that he was "extremely worried" about being expelled from Eton after drug-taking reports.
He also accused Piers Morgan of intimidating him and his wife, and claimed that stories about his father's rumoured relationship with James Hewitt were aimed at ousting him from the royal family.
