Prince Harry Ready to Put Family Row Behind and Pursue Reconciliation

Prince Harry is reportedly open to mending his relationship with the Royal Family and seeks reconciliation before Christmas, according to reports. The Duke of Sussex harbors hopes of repairing ties with his brother and father after the discord following his marriage.

French publication Paris Match disclosed excerpts from a new book by journalist Omid Scobie, which suggests Harry is willing to move past the rift, saying he no longer demands an apology or explanation. However, Scobie writes that Harry has struggled to find common ground, especially with his brother who refuses to discuss the issue.

Scobie's book, "Endgame," the sequel to his 2020 work "Finding Freedom," states that Harry keeps King Charles in the loop about his grandchildren by sharing photos of Archie and Lilibet. This comes after reports that Harry's birthday call to Charles signaled a possible thaw in relations.

The book also alleges that the Princess of Wales speaks about Meghan more than to her and appears nervous at her mention. According to Scobie, Meghan skipped the King's coronation to avoid royal drama, and during a dispute over Frogmore Cottage, Harry confronted Charles about seeing his grandchildren. The book suggests there's little hope for Harry and William's relationship, unchanged after Harry's memoir "Spare" accused William of physical aggression during a disagreement.

Harry, who stepped back from royal duties in 2020, previously claimed Charles had ignored his phone calls. "Endgame" recalls Harry feeling isolated when William didn't reply to his texts about traveling to Balmoral on the day the Queen passed away.

The tension between William and Harry has been further strained by Harry's accusations in his memoir and Netflix documentary. Harry is also involved in a legal battle with Associated Newspapers Limited over claims of illegal information gathering.
