Prince Harry: King's cancer may bring family closer together

Prince Harry expressed on US television that King Charles' cancer diagnosis might strengthen family bonds.
He immediately flew to the UK to visit his father once he heard the news.

During an ABC News interview, he mentioned his thankfulness for spending time with King Charles and intimated future visits to the UK, without commenting on his father's health status.

While in Canada for the Invictus Games, Prince Harry affirmed his love for his family. Despite only visiting London for a night, without his wife Meghan and children, he did not meet his brother Prince William.

Since stepping back as senior royals and moving to the US in 2020, Harry discussed considering US citizenship but said it's not an urgent matter.

This interview followed King Charles pausing public duties for treatment, with other royals stepping in. The conversation comes as Harry and Meghan rebrand their foundation's website and visited the Invictus Games training camp in Whistler, where Harry participated in winter sports activities.

In other news, Buckingham Palace announced Prince William will attend the Bafta awards amidst the family's health challenges, with his wife, the Princess of Wales, recently having had surgery and returning to Windsor with their children.
