Prince George Celebrates 10th Birthday with New Photo Release.
Prince George, the second in line to the throne, is celebrating his 10th birthday with a new photo release by Kensington Palace and PA Media.
The photo shows a smiling Prince George sitting on a set of steps in Windsor, dressed in a checked shirt and teal trousers.
The photo was taken by photographer Millie Pilkington, who also took photos of Prince Louis for his fifth birthday in April.
This marks a change of tradition as Prince George's mother, the Princess of Wales, has often taken photos of her children for past birthdays.
Prince George has just finished his first year at his new school, Lambrook School in Berkshire.
He started at the school with his siblings Charlotte and Louis last September, following the family's move to Windsor.
The summer holidays have been eventful for Prince George, with a visit to the royal box at Wimbledon to watch Carlos Alcaraz win the title against Novak Djokovic.
He was pictured alongside his parents and sister Charlotte, eight.
A few days earlier, George and his younger siblings privately visited an airshow at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire.
Prince George was born on July 22, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in London, weighing 8lb 6oz (3.8kg).
He is the eldest child of
Prince William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
This photo release is a special way to celebrate Prince George's 10th birthday, and it is clear that he is enjoying his summer break with his family.
