Prince Andrew Joins Royal Family Attends Easter Sunday Service at Windsor Castle

Prince Andrew joins King Charles and Queen Camilla for Easter Sunday service amid recent controversy surrounding his links to an alleged Chinese spy
The Duke of York, Prince Andrew, attended the Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla.

He was accompanied by his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and other members of the Royal Family, including Princess Anne and her husband Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

The service was also attended by the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Beatrice, among others.

King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived at the chapel a few minutes after Prince Andrew, waving and smiling at crowds gathered outside.

The Royal Family has been distancing itself from Prince Andrew since his 2019 BBC Newsnight interview about his relationship with convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In January 2022, he was stripped of his military roles and use of HRH title, and later settled a legal dispute with one of Epstein's victims, Virginia Guiffre.

Recently, it emerged that an alleged Chinese spy, Yang Tengbo, also known as Chris Yang, had helped Prince Andrew write birthday letters to China's President Xi Jinping.

Yang has denied any wrongdoing, stating he had 'done nothing wrong or unlawful'.

Documents from a special immigration tribunal revealed that the Royal Household, including the late Queen, were aware of this communication and may have even encouraged it.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were not in attendance at the Easter service, instead spending the weekend with their children in Norfolk.
