Schofield issued a statement about the affair and announced his departure from ITV last week.
The charity said it was no longer appropriate for him to work with them.
The scandal has led to calls for inquiry from the UK Parliament.
ITV has cut all ties with Schofield and confirmed that it had investigated rumors of a relationship between him and a younger employee in 2020, but both denied it at the time.
Schofield will also not present the British Soap Awards next month or a new prime-time series that ITV was developing with him.
