The man was seated in the window seat, and his actions affected Holly and her 15-year-old daughter, who were sitting in the aisle and middle seats.
The man's identity has not been disclosed.
A woman named Holly and her daughter were on a plane when a man exposed himself and urinated multiple times near them while they were waiting for a terminal gate.
The man, who was drunk, used a cup to urinate and then spilled some of it on a flight attendant as he walked to the toilet.
Holly and her daughter reported the incident to the crew, and the man's actions were confirmed when he entered the toilet with a full cup of urine.
A passenger on a plane from Sydney to Wellington was removed by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for disruptive behavior, causing a delay in the flight.
The AFP charged the man with offensive or disorderly conduct affecting safety, and he was fined 600 Australian dollars ($395) by a Sydney court.
Air New Zealand reportedly bans between five and ten customers monthly for disruptive behavior, including intoxication.
