Partygate Report to be Published, Findings to be Revealed on Thursday

The Partygate report, which has been investigating whether Boris Johnson purposefully misled Parliament over the Partygate scandal, will be published on Thursday.

The report was produced by the Privileges Committee and has been awaited for a year.

The report follows claims that Johnson had breached Covid restrictions at a party in the House of Commons in December 2020.

The report will be published a day after Johnson called for a committee member to resign over allegations that the member had breached Covid restrictions.

The report is expected to conclude whether Johnson misled Parliament about the Covid-19 breaches in Downing Street and what he knew about them.

Johnson has admitted to misleading Parliament but denies doing so on purpose.
