The Dubai Police Anti-Cybercrime Team tracked the criminals' complex financial transactions, leading to the arrest of 43 suspects of various nationalities. Additionally, the identity of the gang leader and 20 accomplices outside the country was revealed, and an international arrest warrant was issued against them.

The operation was initiated following a complaint from a lawyer of an Asian company, whose CEO's email was hacked, resulting in the fraudulent transfer of $19 million to a Dubai bank account. The police traced the money trail and monitored the gang, uncovering another heist of approximately $17 million from a different company.

Despite the gang's evasion tactics, the Dubai Police's use of advanced AI technologies and international collaboration led to the successful apprehension of the suspects and the recovery of luxury items and artworks. This operation demonstrates Dubai Police's effectiveness in tackling sophisticated cybercrimes and underscores their global cooperation in such efforts.
