The Met apologized for the incident, but Falter accused the commissioner of allowing antisemitic hate crimes to occur on the streets of London by not curtailing the marches.
The Policing Minister, Chris Philp, announced he would meet with Sir Mark Goldberg to discuss his concerns after an apology from Scotland Yard for a police officer's comment during a pro-Palestinian march.
The officer told a Jewish man that being openly Jewish at the event was provocative.
The initial apology from the Met was criticized as victim-blaming, leading to a second apology stating that being Jewish is not a provocation and that Jewish Londoners should feel safe in the city.
A video clip showed the officer making the comment to the man at the march.
Mr. Falter expressed concern over the Met Police's handling of a recent march, calling the event a "disgrace" and the police response a "stain" on their reputation.
He demanded the resignation or dismissal of Met Commissioner Sir Mark and accused the force of allowing "racists, extremists, and terrorist-sympathizers" to be emboldened by their failure to control the marches.
