Additionally, the GPT-3.5 Turbo model has been updated and its API pricing reduced to encourage broader adoption, with input tokens now $0.0005 per 1,000 and output tokens $0.0015 per 1,000. Alongside, OpenAI has announced fresh embedding models for better content analysis and an enhanced moderation model to filter harmful text.

Developers also benefit from new API management tools and a dashboard for usage monitoring.

Despite a rocky end to the previous year, OpenAI continues its steady progress in refining its AI offerings.
