Ofgem Confirms Four Percent October Energy Price Cap Increase for UK Households

The domestic energy price cap will rise by four percent in October, taking average household energy costs to their highest level in three years as wholesale gas prices increase, while Prime Minister Andy Burnham has ruled out new emergency financial support before the rise takes effect.
