Odey Asset Management (OAM) has removed founder Crispin Odey from the partnership following accusations of historic sexual misconduct by 13 women over a 25-year period

OAM has appointed several internal candidates to maintain fund management, including co-manager Freddie Neave taking on full responsibility of the Odey European Inc and OEI Mac funds.

The company has also sold a stake in AO World to Mike Ashley's Frasers Group, which may have been part of efforts to fund client redemptions, though OAM has declined to comment on the issue.

The sale of the stake is valued at £75m and both Frasers and AO World believe the partnership has significant potential.
