Nurses Threaten Strikes Over 'Grotesque' Pay Deal

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has announced plans to ballot its members on potential strike action in response to a proposed 3.6% pay increase, which the union describes as 'grotesque' and insufficient.

The move signals escalating tensions between healthcare workers and the government, as nurses join other public sector employees in expressing dissatisfaction with pay and working conditions.

The outcome of the ballot could lead to significant disruptions in NHS services.
