The Northern Ireland Department for the Economy says a series of major events, including the North West 200 and the Foyle Maritime Festival, are expected to generate around £21 million for the regional economy. Supported by Tourism Northern Ireland funding, the events are projected to attract more than 570,000 visitors and significantly increase overnight stays across the region.
