Nigel Farage, former leader of the UK Independence Party and current leader of Reform UK, has addressed claims about earning nearly one hundred thousand pounds a month from GB News.
According to the latest Parliamentary Register of Interests, GB News paid Farage’s company, Thorn in the Side Ltd, ninety-seven thousand nine hundred twenty-eight pounds and forty pence for 32 hours of work per month.
However, Farage clarified that this sum includes VAT and covers various services from April 2024 onwards, not just his presenting role.
He is paid varying amounts as a contractor, not a fixed monthly fee.
Farage also revealed earnings from writing for the Daily Telegraph (four thousand pounds a month) and personalized video messages via Cameo.com (sixteen thousand five hundred ninety-seven pounds and twenty-two pence).
Additional income included fifteen hundred fifty-one pounds from X and eight hundred fifty-three pounds from Meta.
Farage's total work outside parliament adds up to approximately 72 hours a month.
His GB News TV show, broadcasted Monday to Thursday, was briefly suspended for election campaigning but has since resumed.
