29 October 2023 · 22:07 UTC

The first yellow warning is in effect from midnight on Sunday until noon on Monday for counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, and Tyrone. A second warning will start at 16:00 GMT on Monday and last for 23 hours until 15:00 GMT on Tuesday.

Additionally, an alert is in place from 18:00 on Tuesday until 09:00 on Wednesday. The Met Office predicts that some areas may receive 25mm to 35mm of rain, with the heaviest showers expected in County Down.

Saturated ground conditions due to ongoing wet weather will heighten the risk of flooding. The Met Office warns of possible disruptions due to the already saturated ground and rivers.
