Parts of Northern Ireland (NI) experienced flooding due to heavy rain, prompting weather warnings. An alert for counties Antrim and Down lasted until 18:00 BST, with another warning covering most of NI from 21:00 to midday Sunday.
Flooding led to road closures in County Down, including the Portaferry Road in Kircubbin. The Met Office warned of intense showers with up to 40mm of rain in six hours in some areas.
Residents and authorities worked to manage flooding in affected regions.
Weather warnings were also issued for heavy rain on the east coast of the Republic of Ireland, posing challenges for driving and outdoor events.
