Drawing inspiration from Wales' current educational focus on health and wellbeing, Ghey spoke at a mindfulness conference in Bangor, Gwynedd, sharing how the practice has helped her cope with her grief.

Currently, about 100 UK teachers are trained in mindfulness, and schools in Liverpool and Warrington have started teaching it.

The International Conference on Mindfulness at Bangor University, co-hosted by the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice and the Mindfulness Network, discussed these innovations.
