The agreement will provide new opportunities for exporters, businesses, and workers and is expected to boost trade between the two countries.

The agreement includes tariff elimination or duty-free quotas for a range of products including wine, beef, sheep meat, grains, rice, sugar, and dairy products.

British products such as cars, whisky, and cosmetics coming into Australia will also become cheaper.

The trade deal also includes a reciprocal agreement for working holidays and longer stays for Australian citizens in the UK.

The UK prime minister has described the trade deal as an "enormous opportunity" for both countries.
