Moose Knuckles and Telfar to Launch Outerwear Collaboration

Moose Knuckles and Telfar to Launch Outerwear Collaboration

New York sensibilities meld with Canadian outdoor comfort in this new collaboration.

No one does winter wear quite like New Yorkers. Sure, we like to stay warm, but that's no reason to sacrifice style. From over-the-top puffers to sleek, wool outerwear, the city becomes a coat-riddled runway in the colder months.

Moose Knuckles, the Canadian outerwear brand, and Telfar, a New York native, are hoping to join the mix this season. The labels put together a 17-piece outerwear collection full of avant-garde elements. Key Moose Knuckles silhouettes are given a young, unisex makeover thanks to Telfar Clemons, the designer behind the eponymous brand.

According to Dominique Lagleva, Vice President of global marketing at Moose Knuckles, “Working with one of the most forward-thinking designers in the industry today has been a dream come true. By infusing Moose Knuckles’ signature shapes, with Telfar’s iconic designs we developed something completely new and timeless that we feel both our communities will appreciate.”

Included in the drop are a bomber and fox-trimmed boot-cut ski pant set, a puff pea coat, monogrammed everything, and a long hoodie that pairs with puff sweatpants circled by rings of fur.

Of course, it wouldn't really be a Telfar release without some bags, so those are included as well. Moose Knuckles x Telfar are launching a limited edition Puff-Telfar Shopper. The Medium Shopper Telfar fans know and love is being remade in puff-down nylon, of course, embossed with "TC." The bag will also be available in a new Large Shopper size, and will be coated in the puzzle piece motif.

The pieces in the collaborative collection range in price from $195 to $4,300 and will be available starting November 1 on Moose Knuckles' and Telfar's websites. Shortly thereafter on November 8, exclusive collection pieces will be available at Notre, Saks Fifth Avenue, Holt Renfrew, Ssense, and Galeries Lafayette.

Moose Knuckles also announced that it will be engineering and manufacturing Telfar's in-line outerwear collection next fall. Clemons' word on the ongoing partnership with Moose Knuckles?

"This is designed specifically for everyone. If I don’t see it in the street every day it didn’t really happen.”
