Miley Cyrus's 'Flowers' Tops Charts as Biggest Single of 2023

Miley Cyrus's song "Flowers" has been the biggest single of 2023 so far, according to the Official Charts Company.

It spent 10 weeks at number one and has achieved 147 million streams and over 80,000 downloads.

Raye's "Escapism" and SZA's "Kill Bill" are in second and third place, respectively.

The Weeknd's greatest hits collection "The Highlights" is the most popular album so far this year, followed by Taylor Swift's "Midnights" and Harry Styles's "Harry's House." Only two albums released in 2023, Lewis Capaldi's "Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent" and Ed Sheeran's "Subtract," are in the Top 10 biggest-sellers list.

The top five best-selling singles of the year are all by female artists, and the top 10 also features two Afrobeats artists.

Miley Cyrus's "Flowers" was the star's first number one since 2014's "Wrecking Ball."
