Microsoft is currently investigating a significant outage affecting its Outlook services, leaving numerous users unable to access various features.

The disruptions began to be reported around 8:40 PM on March 1, 2025, as users took to social media platforms to describe their difficulties with email accounts.

According to data from a service status website, almost 9,000 outage reports were logged by 9:15 PM, indicating broad impact, particularly among users in London and Manchester.

In response to the situation, Microsoft's official support account on X stated, "We’re investigating an issue in which users may be unable to access Outlook features and services," and directed users to refer to the admin center for additional details under issue code MO1020913.

Shortly thereafter, Microsoft provided further updates, explaining that it was reviewing telemetry and customer-provided logs to gauge the extent of the outage.

The company acknowledged that the disruption was affecting various Microsoft 365 services, echoing a similar outage that had previously impacted its email and Teams collaboration app in November of the prior year.

As the investigation continues, users are advised to monitor official communications from Microsoft for updates and potential resolutions to the ongoing issues.
