Metropolitan Police Officer Charged with Additional Rape and Voyeurism Offences

Metropolitan Police officer PC Jake Cummings has been charged with additional sex offences including rape and voyeurism. He faces multiple charges involving three victims from Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Dorset. He is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on September 2.

A serving Metropolitan Police officer, PC Jake Cummings, 25, is scheduled to appear at St Albans Crown Court on September 2 for additional charges of rape and voyeurism.

Initially charged in February with rape, stalking, and controlling and coercive behavior, Cummings now faces more charges involving two more victims.

Hailing from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, he has been suspended from duty.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that its Directorate of Professional Standards is aware of the criminal proceedings.

The ongoing investigation by Hertfordshire Constabulary indicates that the charges relate to three female victims from Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Dorset.
