Manchester United Ready to Sell Dean Henderson to Nottingham Forest Despite Injury-Hit Campaign

Manchester United are in advanced talks to sell goalkeeper Dean Henderson to fellow Premier League club Nottingham Forest.

Henderson spent the season on loan at Forest and the club wants to sign him permanently despite his injury-hit campaign.

The 26-year-old has been at United since he was 14 and has spent most of his time on loan at other clubs.

He spent two seasons at Sheffield United, where he impressed and was named Young Player of the Year twice.

Henderson made just three appearances for United in the following season and criticized the club before joining Forest.

United could also be set to make a U-turn on giving David de Gea a new contract, despite agreeing terms with the goalkeeper.

De Gea's future with the club remains in doubt after criticism for his performance in the FA Cup final.
