10 June 2023 · 09:40 UTC

The match will start at 20:00 BST and will be broadcast live on the BBC Sport website and BBC Radio 5 Live with commentary from 18:30.

Manchester City will be looking to win the Champions League for the first time and complete the Treble, having already won the Premier League and FA Cup.

Inter Milan, led by head coach Simone Inzaghi, finished third in Serie A and won the Coppa Italia for a second consecutive season.

The Italian side has a strong defense, with goalkeeper Andre Onana and a powerful strike force led by Lautaro Martinez, who has 28 goals and 11 assists this season.

Inter have kept a tournament-high eight clean sheets in 12 matches and will be a formidable opponent for Manchester City.

Erling Haaland has broken the record for most goals in a Premier League season with 36 goals and has scored a total of 52 goals in all competitions this season, scoring a goal every 78 minutes.

Haaland has won multiple awards this season, including the Football Writers' Association men's footballer of the year and the Premier League player and young player of the year awards.

He is looking to add the Champions League to his trophy haul and has scored 12 goals in the competition this season, the joint most in a Champions League season for an English club.

Manchester City has a 74.5% chance of winning the Champions League, according to Nielsen Gracenote's Euro Club Index, and is favored to win the final against Inter.

However, Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, is taking nothing for granted and has emphasized the importance of patience in the upcoming game.

City has an impressive record in the Champions League, finishing unbeaten at the top of their group and beating Leipzig and Bayern Munich en route to the final.

Inter Milan finished second in Group C of the Champions League behind Bayern Munich but ahead of Barcelona.

They beat Barcelona 1-0 at home and drew 3-3 away to advance to the knockout stage.

In the knockout stage, they defeated Porto and Benfica to set up a semi-final meeting with city rivals AC Milan.

Inter won the first leg 2-0 and the second leg 1-0 to progress to the final with a 3-0 aggregate score.

They are only the fourth team to reach the final after losing their opening game, following AC Milan in 1994-95, Bayern Munich in 1998-99 and Tottenham in 2018-19.
