German police conclude search for evidence in Madeleine McCann case
The search for evidence linked to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in Portugal has ended.
The search was conducted around the Arade reservoir in the Algarve and was led by German police.
They were looking for evidence to link the British toddler's disappearance to Christian Brueckner, a German national.
Portuguese authorities said material recovered during the three-day operation would now be analyzed.
German prosecutors have named Brueckner as the main suspect in their investigation into Madeleine McCann's disappearance.
