These products come from over 20 countries and are being featured at the BIOFACH SAUDI ARABIA event, which is an international hub for organic products in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.
The event is taking place at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, Saudi Arabia, until November 21, 2023, and is supported by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Suliman Ali Al-Khateeb, the Saudi Deputy Minister for Agriculture Affairs, visited LuLu's booth at the event and commended the retailer for its support of the organic agribusiness food trend.
Saudi Arabia has experienced a significant increase in the demand for organic food, leading to increased production within the country. LuLu Hypermarket has been aligning with this trend by expanding its range of organic products from both Saudi Arabia and various other countries. These products encompass a wide array of categories, including fruits and vegetables, meat, seafood, beverages, bakery goods, delicatessen items, and more.
The Director of LuLu Hypermarket Saudi Arabia, Shehim Mohammed, emphasizes that organic food trends represent a promising area for future growth, and LuLu aims to not only offer a diverse range of organic products but also provide its own in-house labels under the LuLu brand to cater to the demands of different customer segments.
