Love Island Faces Backlash for Latest 'Nepo Baby' Contestant

Love Island fans have criticized the show for bringing in another "nepo baby," or the child of a famous person, after a new contestant revealed her famous father, ex-Chelsea footballer Dennis Wise, during the Casa Amour week.

Amber Wise, a 19-year-old student, discussed her interest in sports and her family background with Tyrique Hyde, 24, which divided viewers on Twitter.

Some compared her to last year's runner-up Gemma Owen, who is the daughter of former Liverpool player Michael Owen.

Others criticized the show for bringing on too many famous offspring, with some stating that it was unfair to the other contestants.

The show has previously featured other famous children, including Dani Dyer, the daughter of soap legend Danny Dyer, and Molly Marsh, who is the daughter of a soap star.
