London Underground Strikes Scheduled for Monday to Thursday Halted, Announces Union

The scheduled London Underground strike from Monday to Thursday has been called off, according to the RMT union.

Progress was made in salary discussions with Transport for London (TfL), leading to the suspension of the strike. RMT's Mick Lynch announced that with additional funding secured, negotiations can proceed on better terms.

TfL acknowledged the additional funds provided by London's mayor, while cautioning of possible Monday service disruptions due to the late cancellation of the strike. Talks with the unions will aim to use the new funds to settle the dispute, added a TfL spokesperson.
