In Punjab, Pakistan, a 20-year-old named Muhammad Amin suffered critical injuries from a lion attack while attempting a selfie at a fair.
The fair, held in Sargodha city by the government's Parks and Horticulture Authority, was about 200 kilometers from Lahore. Following the attack, Amin was hospitalized in critical condition, and the fair was subsequently canceled.
This incident happened just one week after a zoo staff member in Bahawalpur, over 400 kilometers from Lahore, discovered a man, later identified as a drug addict, dead in a lions' enclosure after apparently sneaking in.
