A funeral has been held for Lianne Sharabi and her daughters, Noiya and Yahel, who were tragically killed by Hamas. The family was buried in a cemetery far from their home due to the destruction caused by the conflict.
Their father, Eli, is still missing, and their uncle Yosi has been kidnapped. This heartbreaking situation has left children unable to mourn their parents and parents unable to grieve their children.
Lianne, originally from Bristol, came to Israel at 19 to work on a kibbutz. She was a caring mother known for her dry sense of humor. Yahel, 13, was full of energy and mischief, while Noiya, 16, was a gifted student.
The family in the UK, unable to travel for the funeral, remembered Yahel for her adventurous spirit and Noiya as a beautiful and talented young woman. Lianne's unique personality was also celebrated, and her family vowed to keep her memory alive.
