A police officer in Leicestershire was seriously injured in a dog attack, believed to involve an XL bully breed dog. The officer suffered a bite on his upper leg when responding to an incident in Ibstock.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment, while the dog was seized and placed in secure kennels.
Another officer involved in the incident suffered a small cut to his finger. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and no arrests have been made yet.
