King Charles Poses with Replantable Tree in Christmas Message
King Charles III will stand beside a replantable Christmas tree for his holiday broadcast to the nation and the Commonwealth.
Buckingham Palace has shared a photo of the king with a potted, live tree, adorned with eco-friendly ornaments, reflecting his commitment to environmental issues.
The address is scheduled for release at 3:00 PM GMT on Monday. Taking place in a palace room with a view of the Victoria Memorial, the King is likely to discuss matters important to him. Last year's message, similar to his mother's tradition, blended personal thoughts with contemporary and religious themes.
Since his ascension, King Charles has remained vocal on environmental matters, including a recent speech at the COP28 summit. This year marks the first usage of a replantable tree, which is a more sustainable choice and can be reused annually.
The tree is decorated with sustainable materials and natural elements. The King and Queen Consort will celebrate Christmas at Sandringham and attend a morning church service.
