During the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony in London, King Charles III led a tribute to the victims of a recent Air India plane crash.

The monarch observed a minute's silence and wore a black armband as a mark of respect.

The crash, which occurred shortly after the aircraft departed from Ahmedabad en route to London, resulted in the loss of 241 lives on board and at least 29 on the ground.

The royal family's gesture aimed to honor the memory of those who perished and express solidarity with the affected communities.
