King Charles and Queen Camilla to Visit Scotland for Coronation Celebrations
King Charles and Queen Camilla will visit Scotland in July to mark their coronation, with events including a national service of thanksgiving at St Giles' Cathedral and a people's procession on the Royal Mile.
The King will be presented with the Honours of Scotland, the oldest crown jewels in Britain, during the service.
The procession will be led by the Royal Regiment of Scotland's Shetland pony mascot and will include representatives from various aspects of Scottish life, such as the Girl Guides, Scouts, and Boys and Girls Brigade.
The event will have a distinctly Scottish theme and will end with a 21-gun salute from Edinburgh Castle and a fly past by the Red Arrows.
