Female Director Makes History at Cannes Film Festival
French filmmaker Justine Triet won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for her courtroom drama Anatomy Of A Fall.
This is the third film directed by a woman to win the top prize at the festival and only the fifth time a woman has won the award.
The ceremony also saw other awards given out, including the Grand Prix and the Queer Palm, for films such as The Zone Of Interest, About Dry Grasses, Monster, and Pot-au-Feu.
