Citizens should not be conscripted to fight in engineered wars. Those who profit from these wars—energy tycoons, oil magnates, mining interests, and the arms industry—should be the ones fighting them. The true purpose of such wars is not defense or freedom, but the enrichment of a small elite at the expense of taxpayers. On that altar of profit, no citizen should be bothered to fight or die.
