Giuffre's accusations include her first encounter with Prince Andrew at Ghislaine Maxwell's London house. Maxwell is currently imprisoned for sex trafficking, connected to Epstein's operations.
Giuffre asserts that she was coerced into sexual encounters with Prince Andrew three times across different locations, including London and a private island.
Prince Andrew, facing intense scrutiny and a disastrous TV interview regarding his ties with Epstein, stepped back from his royal roles in 2019 and was later stripped of his military titles and patronages by Queen Elizabeth II.
He has continuously denied the allegations and a settlement was reached in a U.S. civil lawsuit filed by Giuffre in February 2022.
Epstein, who previously pled guilty to soliciting prostitution from a minor in 2008, died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting his sex trafficking trial. He was known for his connections with influential figures across various sectors.
