In a joint announcement, Barbara Brook, aged sixty-four, and Michael G. Wilson, aged eighty-three, confirmed that while they will continue as partners with a stake in the franchise, Amazon MGM Studios will assume creative leadership.
Wilson noted his nearly sixty-year career in the series and his decision to step away from production to focus on artistic projects and charitable work.
