Indonesia's Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki volcano has erupted multiple times, emitting towering columns of ash into the sky and prompting authorities to raise the alert level to its highest status.

The eruption has led to the expansion of the danger zone to a radius of approximately 5 miles from the crater.
