Images of the Week: Britney Spears Speaks Out Against Her Conservatorship

Plus, Travis Scott collaborates with Dior.

After 13 years, Britney Spears has spoken out against her conservatorship. In a moving testimony on Wednesday to L.A. probate judge Barbara Penny, Spears alleged that she was forced to work, keep using an IUD, and take Lithium, among other injustices. Her 24-minute long address was met with an outpouring of support for the singer, as well as fresh cries to #freeBritney.

On the fashion front, the men’s spring 2022 season is in full swing. One of the most exciting shows was Dior’s, in which designer Kim Jones partnered with rapper Travis Scott. But those on the runway aren’t the only clothes worth paying attention to. Telfar Clemens announced that his eponymous label would be sponsoring Team Liberia in the upcoming Olympic Games, as well as designing their uniforms.

Justin and Hailey Bieber also made time in their schedules while traveling to Paris to pay a visit to French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte. The foursome discussed “youth issues.” Finally, it’s Pride weekend in New York, with the parade taking place on Sunday. Time to celebrate-if you’re fully vaccinated, of course.
