A captivating exhibition called "Museum of the Moon" at Southwark Cathedral in London combines space exploration with the majestic architecture of the church. The centerpiece of the exhibition is a seven-meter-wide moon, internally illuminated, hanging beneath the cathedral's vaulted ceilings.
The moon is at a 1:500,000 scale of the real moon, featuring high-resolution images from NASA on its surface. The effect is enhanced by low lighting in the cathedral, creating a stunning atmosphere.
The exhibition also includes an ambient soundtrack composed by Dan Jones. "Museum of the Moon" is on display until October 28 in London, with additional showings in other UK locations and internationally.
