The woman was rescued at about 14:45 BST on Monday and was treated for shock and the effects of the cold mud.
Wirral and Flint Coastguard Rescue Teams, Merseyside Police, and the North West Ambulance Service also assisted with the rescue.
The woman was stuck in a channel of shallow water and the hovercraft crew had to land carefully alongside her and use mud boards and mats to provide a solid surface before extracting and bringing her aboard for assessment.
The RNLI urged visitors to the area to only visit a lifeguarded beach, check the weather forecast and tide times, and look out for local safety signage.
