How to Style the Colorful Leather Trend

How to Style the Colorful Leather Trend

Step into the upcoming spring season with colorful leather pieces that are bold and bright.

Leather is a classic fashion staple that regardless of era, trend, or style, will always be incorporated in new collections every season. Colorful leather is an especially trendy variation seen throughout the Spring/Summer 2022 runways, as well as popular social media accounts.

As utilitarian as it is edgy, the versatility of leather is a signature feature of the textile. Classic leather in brown or black shades is ubiquitously worn in fashion, especially during the colder months. As much as neutral leather is a staple, vibrantly hued styles in neons or pastels can be found in abundance this season.

Be ahead of the trends this spring in all kinds of shades of leather from high-end brands like Givenchy and Versace, to independent designers Miaou and Eckhaus Latta. These bright styles fit into a variety of trend-driven aesthetics, from social media-born avant basic (á la Saks Potts) to nostalgic Y2K fashion, reminiscent of Lil' Kim's red carpet looks.

Experiment with colorful leather by opting for a monochromatic head-to-toe look, pairing leather with other colorful pieces to create a new texture, or incorporating a single bright piece with your neutral wardrobe staples.
