The children's parents, Aroen Kishen and Seema, lived in the house, with Mr. Kishen believed to be in the hospital at the time of the fire. The tragedy occurred during Diwali, a festival celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Tributes from the community have poured in for the victims, with flowers and heartfelt messages left near the house. A letter from Westbrook Primary School expressed condolences and support for the students, and it ended with a touching tribute to the family. A note from classmates mentioned that they were all grieving and missing the children.

The local community has been deeply affected by the tragedy, describing the family as having a beautiful garden and expressing their sorrow for the loss of the "beautiful souls." Hounslow Council has evacuated nearby properties as a precaution, relocating residents to hotels while investigations continue.

Emergency services responded to the fire, which was brought under control in the early hours of the morning. Investigations are ongoing, and the cause of the fire remains undetermined at this stage. Both the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police are keeping an open mind regarding the cause, with no arrests made yet.
